Homewood Cottages are situated in the heart of Highfields only 10 kilometres north of Toowoomba off the New England Highway. The cottages border Davidson's Arboretum (Latin for tree garden) an exquisite one hectare of many varieties of trees from around the world. The cottages are ideally situated and offer great ambience for a romantic weekend or a relaxing midweek break. Each cottage is tastefully themed (Australian/English).
The Highfields District offers many local eateries, restaurants, old country pubs, arts and crafts shops, art galleries, historical sites and museums, country markets, flower art, pottery, gifts, scrapbooking, quilting, homemade chocolate shops, parks and gardens, national parks and lakes. Suitable for garden weddings with adjoining Arboretum having a lovely wedding arch set amongst the established gardens also housing a covered rotunda beside a labyrinth maze.
