The tenth annual Hampton Food and Arts Festival is on again in the high country village of Hampton. This signature autumn event in one of south Queensland's most picturesque regions continues to maintain a focus on local food production and the diversely talented artistic community.

Coinciding with the Year of the Farmer, the Festival will introduce The Market Place where visitors can enjoy cooking demonstrations with celebrity chefs, an enhanced food market with the freshest local produce and 'The Growers Gab' talks with farmers and foodies for a grassroots insight into food production.

Activities in the art precinct include the Art Exhibition with over 160 artworks and artists in residence. There will be a plethora of restaurant, winery and market stalls and plenty of tasty delights to enjoy.

Special guests in 2012 include chef Dominique Rizzo cooking recipes inspired by her Sicilian heritage and acclaimed blues guitarist Jeff Lang.
